ACAI BERRY

Native to Brazil the Acai Berry is packed full of antioxidants that combat free radical damage. Acai Berry is recognized as one of the world’s ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity) foods due to its ability to neutralize free radicals. Free radicals damage the cells and glands within the body making us prone to disease and ageing.

AFRICAN MANGO (Irvingia Gabonensis)

African Mango is part of a staple diet of the tribes in Cameroon and Nigeria. These tribes are slim built and have a low incidence of cardiovascular disease. The seeds called “dika nuts” are ground up and taken to reduce hunger during long hunting trips.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR EXTRACT

CHROMIUM

Chromium is an essential trace mineral, involved in protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism, as well as improving insulin sensitivity.

It is a metallic element required in small quantities, the exact amount is unknown.

Chromium deficiencies are linked to the development of insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and high cholesterol level.

Chromium Picolinate is the common form of chromium found in dietary supplements. There are potential concerns with chromium picolinate; how it is processed within the body and how it reacts with some medications. DROP IT contains the mineral Chromium ONLY.

COLEUS FORSKOHLII (Forskolin)

Forskolin is a tropical plant related to mint, with the active compound found in the root. The plant has been used in Ayurvedic medicine and grows in India and Thailand. Forskolin been traditionally used to treat heart and respiratory disorders. Scientists continue to study Forskolin for various uses.

GARCINIA CAMBOGIA

Garcinia Cambogia is a fruit native to India and South East Asia that is exported all over the world. Hydroxycitrate acid (HCA) is the active ingredient in Garcinia Cambogia that blocks Citrare Lyase, an enzyme required for the synthesis of cholesterol, fatty acids and triglycerides.

HCA has also been shown to raise serotonin levels, the hormone that is sometimes referred to as “the happy hormone” that also makes you feel less hungry.

Researchers have identified that the diet affected results, notably that results were not as effective with a diet high in carbohydrate and low in fat.

Glucomannan is a natural water-soluble, exceptionally viscous dietary fiber extracted from the roots of the elephant yam. L-ARGININE

Arginine is an amino-acid that is required for the synthesis of proteins. It benefits the skin, liver, muscles and joints. It also supports the immune system and regulates blood levels.

Arginine is an essential component of the urea cycle that allows the elimination of ammonia from the body. Ammonia is a waste product. The liver turns ammonia into urea which is eliminated in urine.

In order to use fat as a fuel source L-Carnitine is required to move fatty acids from the blood to the mitochondria of the cell. Glutamine is an important and abundant amino-acid in the body with many functions including:
